Connect to the Real World - Applied Projects in the Classroom

Watch the Recording

Students can often fail to connect with course concepts and theory. Applied projects are one solution to bridging the divide between the academic ivory tower and the practicalities of student perspectives.

Students want to know how course material is useful to them in their everyday and professional lives - an applied project is a way to allow students to apply course concepts to real-world problems. Join this session to dive deeper into the benefits of applied projects and gain examples to implement in your courses.
