Melinda Clardy is a firm believer in life-long learning and enjoys reading, music, and spending time with family when possible. A transplant to the south, she joined South Louisiana Community College just over 8 years ago and is honored to serve currently as the Faculty Senate President. Having always wanted to be a teacher, she is very proud to have reached the rank of Associate Professor of Mathematics and to be the two-time winner of the college's STEM Faculty Excellence Award.
