Attend this interactive workshop to review projects that connects the knowledge acquired in the classroom to an application outside the classroom, while keeping our students engaged in the learning process.
We shall discuss applied projects in several undergraduate mathematics courses.
Samuel Chukwuemeka is a talented educator, mathematician, scientist, and technologist. He naturally hails from Nigeria, where he was born. He immigrated to the United States to live, work and study. In Nigeria, he acquired a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State. In the United States, he acquired an Associate in Applied Technology degree in Computer Information Systems from Trenholm State Technical College; a Master of Education degree in Mathematics Education from Alabama State University; and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Troy University Montgomery, Alabama.
Teaching and Learning has been his passion since childhood. He believes in his quote and teaching philosophy that "The Joy of a Teacher is the Success of his Students.” - Samuel Chukwuemeka. He has immense joy when his students learn, understand, and succeed.

He is also a web developer by training, and he is proficient in the use of technology including applications software, course management systems, and graphing calculators, among others.
His work experience includes tutoring and teaching services in Nigeria and in the United States. Presently, he is a mathematics faculty at Blue Ridge Community College. His hobbies include writing poems, web design, table tennis, lawn tennis, and soccer.
